Used machines are peer-to-peer and sold as-is, so typically no. Each listing shows the machine's status so you know its condition before buying. For warranty coverage, use Trade-in.

How is my old machine valued in a Trade-in?

Your old hardware is valued against the upgrade you are moving to, and that value comes off the cost of your new machine. You see the numbers before committing to anything.

Which is faster to break even, Trade-in or the Marketplace?
